JLL and Cushman & Wakefield real estate advisors are mandated to lease Liberty office building
WING Zrt. entrusted JLL and Cushman & Wakefield real estate agencies with the leasing activities of its the large-scale, 42,000 sq m Liberty office building.
The building will be realised next to the new Telekom headquarters and its delivery is expected in 2021.
As announced by WING Zrt. at the end of last year, its next major investment, Liberty office building, will be built on the South Pest office submarket of the capital. Hence, new premium category offices and commercial areas will be available for tenants who prefer urban location for their future office- or headquarter in a haunted junction of Budapest. Co-exclusive leasing agencies of the building will be JLL and Cushman & Wakefield.
As we're used to the developer's high-quality work, the office building focuses on environmental consciousness and aims to obtain the BREEAM Very Good certification. Plans include a greenhouse with plants on the top floor as well as a skybar with panoramic views over Buda. The layout of the eight-floor office building will allow the creation of large floorplans too, it can even suit offices of 4,800 sq m on one level. The building can be completed in two phases as well, and it is ideally suited as headquarters for a single company or for multiple tenants.
The successful rejuvenation of the investment's neighborhood is also supported by completed developments - above all the Telekom headquarter – and by on-goig or planned developments: by the end of 2020 renovation works of M3 metro line and Népliget metro station will be completed, and at the same time Bakáts square and the neighbouring Népliget, the largest public park of Budapest will be renewed as well. Furthermore, the completed Orczy Garden with its new services and Nehru Park also increase the area's standard. The office building is easily accessible by public transport from any part of the city, and it can be quickly reached from the surrounding locations due to direct metro, tram connections, and Népliget long distance bus station. The location also counts as the Southern-gate of Budapest for people who are travelling into the city from Liszt Ferenc international airport and M5 highway.
„It is an honor that our agency can work with such a well-known developer like WING. Due to the neighborhood of the developing city and the Telekom headquarters, the office building is already of great interest, therefore, we look forward to this leasing mandate. We are pleased that we can also contribute to the reshape of the Budapest office market by participating in the project, as the hand-over of Liberty office building will make Népliget and its surrounding a dominant office location." – said Dr. Péter Würsching, Head of Leasing of JLL.
Tamara Szántó MRICS, Partner and head of office leasing at Cushman & Wakefield added: "We are extremely proud that WING has entrusted us with the leasing of Liberty office building. We are confident that with our extensive market knowledge and our professionally trained dedicated team we will be able to successfully fill this unique and outstanding quality office development in a short period of time."
